When touch, taste, and sound become our ways of reaching one another, something softer, more essential begins to grow.
This intimate gathering brings together eight women who joined through an open call, foregrounding openness and accessibility, for an afternoon of theatre workshop, a communal lunch inspired by the taste of “mother’s cooking,” and shared storytelling and embodied practice.
Through these shared acts, the program interweaves food, performance, and collective narration as modes of transmission and care. It offers a grounded space to see and honor women’s knowledge, to imagine new forms of mutual support, and to celebrate women’s labor, often overlooked or marginalized, that sustains contemporary life.
This event is part of the Building Bridges – A Meeting Point on Art & Social Action in Asia program and is made possible with the support of Mekong Cultural Hub.
